How to play:
Kraken Attack is a cooperative game all about coordinating your actions to defend your ship against attacks from all sides: both port and starboard, from bow to stern!
Your turn consists of two phases:
Move the tentacles
Roll all of the available dice. The red dice move red tentacles, and the purple dice move purple tentacles. If the tentacle is activated in the saber zone then it attacks the ship!
Play an action card
It’s your turn to attack! Choose one of the face-up action cards in front of you to help push back the tentacles. You could fire a canon or repair the ship. Or maybe attack with your saber!
If you are told to make a silly face, this makes the Kraken mad it moves closer to the ship! When you succeed in pushing the Kraken back, you’ll gain a token.
The game can end in one of the following two ways:
- A Pirate places the 3rd Kraken attack token on the Kraken figurine. The Kraken has learned its lesson and returns to the depths of the ocean. You win the game immediately!
- The fourth hole token is placed on the ship. Disaster! Your ship sinks, and you find yourselves stranded on a deserted island! You lose the game immediately.
